While over 90% of female mammals raise their young alone, this week’s #ThrowbackThursday spotlight study reveals an interesting pattern of male care. Across diverse species, from titi monkeys to raccoon dogs, fathers, brothers, and even unrelated males actively participate in feeding, carrying, and grooming the young. This boosts survival rates and creates complex social structures.
