We’re hiring – join our team

We are seeking a skilled conservation leader to manage our marine wildlife trade projects at the national level, primarily in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

You will be collaborating with national governments, in-country experts and other scientists to make measurable progress in research, management and policy. This role focuses on syngnathid fishes (seahorses, pipefishes, pipehorses, and seadragons) but is connected to other marine fish concerns.

If you are passionate about marine conservation and are good at achieving breakthroughs in research, management, and policy, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Dive into the unique challenges of marine wildlife trade and play a key role in our endeavours to steer wildlife trade towards sustainability.

The post will be physically located at The University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada with considerable travel.
